管楽器を中心にしたインストジャズロックを志向。
2003年結成。
2006年1stアルバム『eight rare cases』、2009年2ndアルバム『R.U.R.』を共にCINRA RECORDSから発表。
多くの媒体から取り上げられ評判を得る。
国内野外イベントや、国内ツアーをはじめ、アメリカツアーなど幅広く活動。
TSUTAYA O-nestで都市型フェス『みんなの戦艦2016』を、渋谷WWWで『グランドスラム2018』を主催、成功させた。
2019年4月に3rdアルバム『Freaking Happy』をNatural Hi-Tech Recordsからリリース。
2022年9月に4thアルバム『Bay Leaf and Singers』を自主レーベルよりリリース。
2023年12月、新宿MARZで結成20周年記念イベント「-HATATI-」を開催
